Patricia A. "Pat" Cooper - age: 77
(October 19, 1933 to October 23, 2010 ) Resident of De Kalb, Texas Visitation Information: 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. with the Rosary to follow at 7:30 P.M. Bates Family Funeral Home Obituary: Mrs. Patricia Ann "Pat" Cooper passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 at her home in De Kalb, Texas. She was 77. Patricia was born October 19, 1933 in Denver, Colorado to William and Michelle Lofquist Willesen. On July 18, 1952, she married Allen J. Cooper in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Patricia was a member of St. Mary’s of the Cenacle Catholic Church in New Boston, Texas where she was a Eucharistic Minister, Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Altar Society. She was a member of the De Kalb Gardenia Garden Club, De Kalb Professional Business Women’s Association Woman of the Year 1991 and De Kalb ABWA Chapter Boss of the Year 1989. She loved fishing, traveling, TV Game Shows and working with the Miss De Kalb Beauty Pageant. She is survived by her husband, Allen J. Cooper of De Kalb, Texas; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Laura and Bill Thompson of De Kalb, Texas, Denise Duey of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Michelle and Brian Fusan of Luthersville, Georgia; a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Connie Cooper of De Kalb, Texas; a sister, Linda Galvan of Kansas City, Missouri and a brother Ron Galvan of Kansas City, Missouri; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Willesen and Michelle Galvan; and two sisters, Natalia Pace and Jo Ann Willesen. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Monday, October 25, 2010 with the Rosary to follow at 7:30 P.M. Mass of the Christian Burial will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at St. Mary's of the Cenacle Catholic Church in New Boston, Texas with Father Ron Demski officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery.
