Obituary:
Mrs. Ola Lee Steuart of De Kalb, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Sunny Acres Nursing Center. She was 93.

Ola Lee was born March 21, 1917 in Valliant, Oklahoma to Sam and Suzanna Son Giddens. She was a seamstress and a member of the De Kalb Church of Christ where she was a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the De Kalb Chamber of Commerce, De Kalb Octoberfest Committee, Keep De Kalb Beautiful Committee and Friends of the Williams House. The lives of Butch and Ola Lee were enriched by many they considered as their adopted children over the years. In recent years her life was made more enjoyable by her card playing friends, especially Mary Willis.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Everett Hinton of Hastings, Nebraska and Sue and Steve Ginn of Cedar Hill, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Mary Dupree of Waco, Texas; grandchildren, Becky and Jeff Shafer, Lane and Mindy Hinton, Trent and Tyler Hinton, Keri Ginn, and Beverly and Charlie Tubb; great grandchildren, Lily, Trevor and Abby Shafer, Halle Hinton, Marla Tubb and Zach Tubb; and one great-great grandchild, Cheyenne Tubb.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie "Butch" Steuart; a son, Archie Lee Dupree and a grandson, David Dupree.

Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Bates Family Funeral Home.

Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the De Kalb Church of Christ with Steve Ginn and Lane and Trent Hinton officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery.
