Obituary:
Mrs. Marie Dallas Pruitt passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at her home in De Kalb, Texas. She was 93.

Marie was born August 1, 1916 in Detroit, Texas to Emmit and Minnie Mae Hopkins Rawls. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Clawson of De Kalb, Texas, Cannelia Lou and Norman Cox of Huntsville, Texas; three grandchildren, Judy Gridland, Norman Lynn Cox and Darrell Wayne Cox; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Alexander Pruitt; an infant daughter and a son, Henry Earl Pruitt.

Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Bates Family Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Woodmen Cemetery with Rev. Charles Hillis officiating.
