Friday, May 7, 2010 Bates Family Funeral Home Obituary: Mr. Malcolm Hugh Pace, Jr. of New Boston, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at a New Boston Nursing Center. He was 85. Malcolm was born December 12, 1924 in Bowie, Texas to Malcolm and Eva Brubaker Pace. He was a Newspaper printer for the El Paso Times and a member of First Baptist Church Moores Lane in Texarkana, Texas. He is survived by two daughters, Mary Downs of New Boston, Texas and Nancy Montes of El Paso, Texas; a son Jesse H. Pace of Louisiana; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Pace in 2003; and a son Malcolm Hugh Pace III in 1998. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 7, 2010 at Bates Family Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 7, 2010 at Bates Family Funeral Home with Rev. We were shocked.. and wish we knew and we would love to have gone to the funeral. He was always good to my family, and we'll miss him very much.. God be with you and your family..
