Obituary:
Mr. Eugene Romans of De Kalb, Texas passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 at New Boston Healthcare Center. He was 72.

Eugene was born June 6, 1937 in De Kalb, Texas, to William and Opal Lawler Romans. He was a woodcutter and a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by three sisters, Frances Kolding of De Kalb, Texas, Hazel McKinna of California, and Edith Romans of New Boston, Texas; a nephew, James Kolding and a niece, Charlotte Kolding.

Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Bates Family Funeral Home.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Bates Family Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Linam officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery.
