Saturday, March 27, 2010 Bates Family Funeral Home Obituary: Margie Faye Young, of Simms, Texas, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010 at a Texarkana hospital. She was 67. Margie was born January 2, 1943 in Bassett, Texas to Jack and Goldie Kemp Crabtree. She was a personal Health Care Giver and attended Trinity Full Gospel Church in Corley, Texas. She is survived by five daughters and four sons-in-law, Monica Hankins of Simms, Texas, Pam and Ronald Allen of Lone Oak, Texas, Marilyn and Paul Hillis of Simms, Texas, Lisa Young and Ronald Myers of Simms, Texas and Leslie and Barry Birdwell of Simms, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Roger Freeman of Maud, Texas; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Charlie and Gladys Crabtree of Yantis, Texas, Royce and Velma Crabtree of Simms, Texas, and Michael Dan Crabtree of Simms, Texas; 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara Hayworth, Peggy Kruse, and Virginia Crabtree; and two brothers, James Crabtree and Pete Crabtree. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Bates Family Funeral Home. Services will be held 2:30 P.M. Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Bates Family Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Minter and Rev. Chris Fowler officiating. Just wanted to let you girls know that I love you and I pray that God gives you strength, peace and love and that He will continue to remind y'all how much Aunt Faye loved you and believed in you. I know you all have very good memories of your times together and that is where you can draw strength and get through this.
