Obituary:
Mrs. Patsy Dean Darnell passed away Friday, February 26, 2010. She was 71.

Patsy was born March 8, 1938 in De Kalb, Texas, to William and Selenia Morrison McCrary. She was a Biology Teacher and Counselor and a member of First United Methodist Church, De Kalb, Texas.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Dr. Eric Hall of Texarkana, Texas; three brothers, Silas McCrary of De Kalb, Texas, Butler McCrary of De Kalb, Texas and Bill McCrary of De Kalb, Texas; two grandchildren, Cylas May Darnell Hall and Jeri Beth Darnell; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Owen Darnell; a son, Rhett Darnell; three sisters, May Beth Anderson, Wilemia Doris Black, and Elsie Lucille Moser; and a brother, Bob McCrary.

Graveside services will be held 1:30 P.M. Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Spring Hill Cemetery with Rev. Tony Hoefner officiating.

Memorials may be made to a charity or church of your choice.

Ms.Patsy was a fine teacher and a loyal supporter of the Bears and will be missed greatly.She was and always will be 1 of my favorite teachers.My heartfelt sympathy to Julie and the rest of her family.
