Monday, February 15, 2010 Bates Family Funeral Home Obituary: Mrs. Ottolene Weeks Randolph of De Kalb, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010 at a nursing home in Paris, Texas. She was 88. Ottolene was born February 5, 1922 in the Spring Hill Community, De Kalb, Texas, to William and Minnie Leathers Weeks. She was a homemaker and a member of Pinkham Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in De Kalb, Texas and a member of the De Kalb Blue Bells. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Bettie Randolph of New Boston, Texas; two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda Wilmoth of Idabel, Oklahoma and Susan and James Crawford of New Boston, Texas; a sister, Velma Bolt of Haworth, Oklahoma; six sisters-in-law, Alta Weeks of Caddo Mills, Texas, Mary John Weeks and Barbara Weeks of Texarkana, Texas and Fay Weeks of Idabel Oklahoma; four grandchildren, John Wilmoth, Julie Ingram, Shelly Love and Shawna Engle and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie Weeks; her husband Burtice Boyd Randolph; four brothers, Curtis, Howard, John and L.C. Weeks; and four sisters, Hester Smith, Vester Spinks, Bevie Wheeler Vaughan, and Lorene Harris. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, February 15, 2010 at Bates Family Funeral Home. Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Bates Family Funeral Home with Rev. Roddy Jackson and Rev. Ken Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Pinkham Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, 117 E. Browning St., De Kalb, Texas 75559. |
