Jewel Ramage was one of my favorite people. He never met a stranger and anybody meeting him received a blessing. He was a great friend to my parents, Harold and Fannie Johnson. He influenced my life in many ways and for that, I thank him.
Enjoy eternity, Jewel.

I loved and admired this man, Jewel Ramage. He personified all my expectations in what a real man is...God, Family, Country, and in that order. Elizabeth, to my way of thinking, you and Jewel were the perfect couple. We'll all miss Jewel, but you most of all. Your friends will be there for you. I'm thinking of you and your family with a heart full of love.

Cal,Bart, Brent,Ann, Mrs Ramage I can remember the days out in the fields, hauling hay, and traveling the next morning to the stock yards to unload. Mr Ramage "SHOWED" me how to be a man, he taught me "Do the right thing.....the rest will follow! He was someone I always looked up to, and he never let me down. I am so sorry for your loss! Some of my best days were out in the hay fields, and what I remember most were your Dad's hands, strong from throwing hay bales up on the truck!
Again I am so sorry for your loss. DL

Jewel & Elizabeth Ramage have been anchors for many families and individuals, quietly and consistently, among their neighbors and the Hooks community. They truly provided roots and wings for their children, from Hooks out into the world at large. To Cal, Bart, Ann, and Brent -- thanks for sharing your parents and their wisdom with all of us other children whom they have watched out for, and please hug your mom from us today. We are all blessed by your Dad's life, as he is now able to enjoy from a place with a better view. He is still with us all. Blessings to you all.

I am so sorry to learn of Mr. Ramage's passing. I have such wonderful childhood memories of the Ramage family. I think my favorites are of the hayrides at the farm. Mr. Ramage always welcomed us with his warm, inviting smile, with the biggest dimples I've ever seen. He was such a dear man. Actually, I should say he IS such a dear man, just at a new address. I look forward to seeing him again, one glad day. My condolences to all of the Ramage family. I pray your grief soon gives way to warm, happy memories of this special man. God bless you.

Although I only met Jewel Ramage a few times while attending A&M with his children, I always knew him to be a man of God, who you knew showed the same kindness to everyone he met. I believe his greatest legacy must be the family he left behind. I remember seeing many of the same traits he possessed reflected in Cal, Bart, Brent, and Annie. I know you miss him greatly. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God's blessings & presence carry you through.

Martha Ramage was my sorority sister at UCLA. I've tried to contact her through the years. If this is her Father, then I send my sincere sympathy. Judith Fraser: jfrasermft@att.net
