Munsey and I are sad to hear about Jessie Florence. We cannot be there for the funeral, as we now live in Colorado, but I am so glad that I got to know her when we moved to New Boston. She is the only person I have ever known who seemed to like to live in a nursing home, I think because she loved being around people and always found them interesting. Although her health was already failing when I got to know her, her spirit always seemed young because she always was interested in everything around her. I know you know how central to her life you all were. Our thoughts are with you.

Dear Abi, Becky and families,
Please accept my sincere condolences, on the passing of your mother and grandmother. I remember first meeting Jessie, when my grandmother, Dale Farmer, then Records Management Officer, brought me to work with her. I was 12 years old, and I remember Jessie's smiling eyes. She welcomed me, and I was allowed to sit at her desk, and "type letters". I had a wonderful time, that day, and came to love her, as my own grandmother. I remember, also, spending Sunday afternoons with my grandmother, visiting with you all. I know that she will be missed, by everyone who was blessed to know her. She was a wonderful, loving lady, and was always gracious to all she met. My sincere sympathy to you all, and you all remain in my prayers. Much love, Suzanne Sizemore Orrick
