Obituary:
Bonnie Ruth Smith passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at a Texarkana Hospital. She was 74.

Bonnie was born July 19, 1935 in Gaffney, South Carolina to Letch Sturgill and Mary Sprouse Dover. She was a homemaker, devoted Christian, and loved to listen to Jimmy Swaggard.

She is survived by a son, James Smith of New Boston, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dianna and Jack Campbell of De Kalb, Texas and Lena and Ricky Garton of De Kalb, Texas; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, December 4, 2009 at Bates Family Funeral Home.

Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Bates Family Funeral Home with Robby Bates officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery.
