Obituary:
Emma Lou Hamilton of New Boston, Texas, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011, at a Texarkana hospital. She was 86.

Emma was born August 22, 1925 in Amarillo, Texas. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Hamilton, Sr. in 2009; and her parents, Raymond John Gruver and Audie Beatrice Sloan Gruver.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Bill Feazel, Jr. of New Boston, Texas; a son, John C. Hamilton, Jr. of New Boston, Texas; a brother, Tommy Gruver of El Paso, Texas; four grandchildren, Joni Thomas, John C. Hamilton III, Tracy Sorsby, and Melissa Berry; five great grandchildren, Taryn Sorsby, Chance Sorsby, Will Sorsby, Taegan Thomas and Lexi Thomas.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Bates Family Funeral Home with Robby Bates officiating. Interment will be in Read Hill Cemetery in New Boston, Texas.
