(January 10, 1911 to April 29, 2011 ) Resident of Avery, Texas Obituary: Eva Jackson Dawson Bassett, 100, of Avery, Texas passed away April 29, 2011 at her residence. She was born January 10,1911 in Red River County, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husbands; Hugh Livinston Dawson, Jr. and Morris Bassett. She was also preceded in death by a son, Kennith Lynn Dawson. Mrs. Jackson was a retired school teacher, a member of Avery Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by one brother, Joe Jackson of Kirbyville, TX, One Daughter-In-Law, Bernice Reed Dawson of Avery, TX; three Granddaughters and spouses, Lisa and Mike Clark of Avery, TX, Regina and Terry Carson of New Boston, TX and Kim and Josh Dillon of Addison, TX; Great Grandchildren, Keith and Keri Clark of Avery, TX; Dawson, Drew and Oliver Carson of New Boston TX; Ava and Mason Dillon of Addison, TX; Great Great Grandchildren, Makynli Long and Lyla Kelsoe-Clark of Avery, TX; Sisters -In-Law, Elaine Jackson of Sherman, TX and Jean Jackson of Avery, TX Graveside services will be at 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 30, 2011 with Bro Gary McCain officiating at English Cemetery, English, TX In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Avery Methodist Church or English Cemetery. |
