Saturday, April 9, 2011 Bates Family Funeral Home Obituary: Mr. Jimmie Dale Foster passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at his home in Simms, Texas. He was 72. Jimmie was born February 10, 1939 in De Kalb, Texas to William and Loula Mae Moore Foster. He worked at Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant and was owner and operator of All Site Fence Company in Dallas, Texas. He was in the Army Reserve and the National Guard and was a member of First Baptist Church in De Kalb, Texas. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Herman Foster, John L. Foster and J.D. Foster; and two sisters, Alene Granberry and Paulene Sutton. He is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Amanda Foster of Simms, Texas, Jerry Foster and Jamie Foster; a daughter, Kelly Foster; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Lana Foster of Linden, Texas and Leland Ray and Judy Foster of Simms, Texas; a sister, Betty Farrar of Simms, Texas; four grandchildren, Tyler, Amber, Cassidy and Tabitha Foster and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Bates Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at College Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
