To the family of Mr. Irby, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. He was our favorite customer of Hooks Camper Center and was delighted to see him everytime he came in. He made a great pan of cornbread. He will be greatly missed by us all. Ferrell and Mary Jane Beaird

Irby was a classmate of my uncle's. I also remember Mr. and Mrs. Thompson, Sr. when growing up in New Boston. My mom still speaks highly of the entire Thompson family. You children and grandchildren have a tremendous heritage and should be very proud of your ancestors. They made a tremendous impact on New Boston, Texas. I am honored to have known Irby. My prayers are with you at this time. God bless you all, Jane Stone Skaggs
